My Brother just picked up a 2000 D2 and got the chance to drive it around. Noticed how the transmission is smooth on upshifts from 1st to 2nd whether light or heavy on the gas. I have a 1997 and it's not quite the same. Thought the transmission is the same? On mine when I'm light on the gas there is a quick and smooth upshift from 1st to 2nd, however when I'm occasionally heavy on the right foot there is a noticable hesitation. All other upshifts/downshifts are smooth. I am running 235/85s...Never really thought about it, but could it be just the size of the tires or is the transmission slipping? Thanks in Advance Brian
