I'm a bit perplexed. The brake light (on the instrument panel) decides to come on every now and then. It's driving me crazy. Could it be the swithch, or something worse? 1997 Discovery I |

If it's the light that comes on when you apply the emergency brake then you may want to clean the area around the emergency brake handle with compressed air, or, if you're feeling plucky, remove the center console and clean and lubricate the switch. If it's the light that comes on when you're low on brake fluid then you should add brake fluid. -Jim

Put Brake fluid in the master cylinder. It's low. |
