my 2000 DII is in near perfect condition as far as body and parts go. I was trying to figure out if I should keep or sell the factory parts after I mod. things like the wheels, brush guards, bumpers. stuff like that; to keep or to sell? | ||

Hmmmm! Difficult question! FWIW, I kept my mag wheels and i'm glad I did because a couple of years later I bought a second Disco (2nd hand) which came with steel wheels which I changed over. I think its a bit like Murphys Law....you hang onto the parts for years then finally sell or get rid of them only to find that a week later you could have used them. | ||

i kept springs...will keep bumpers...will sell brush guard...have two sets of alloys, so no problem there! hacking the crap out of the lrna adventure rack to make it do what i want it to do. when i build my own rack there will be nothing left anyone will want to buy or worth keeping, so no problem there...;) | ||

I am a pack rat so I keep almost everything that has been removed from my rigs, not to mention from time to time you will see someone posting that they want to put their ride back to stock and will trade the upgrade parts for the stock parts. If you have the space why not  |
