I just got a new clutch about 10,000 miles ago and like my old one the pedal squeaks when I push it in. I've tried everything I could think of to stop it but it wont. Is it a big deal or should I not worry about it. I would hate to have to get a new one, 1800 bucks damn. |

If the pedal is squeaking, it is likely the spring at the top of the pedal arm. Mine has squeaked for 50k+ miles. You can either live with it or try spraying lubricant on the spring. I tried oiling the spring, but this only helped temporarily. It's not a big deal--just turn the radio up! |

I have a 94 disco and the clutch pedal squeeks also. It is just the spring. If you can live with it I wouldn't worry. You can use some 3in1 oil on the spring to cure it. |
