At a local car dealership I saw a mid 90's Disco with LR brush bar & Adventure Rack. I of course stopped in and asked if they would part with the rack. The answer was YES  So as I asked about price they said they'd get back to me. After calling the LR dealership and saying that a new one installed was about $1,400 they said they would sell me this installed on my truck for $350. Anyone's thoughts If I should not pass this up. It's a little weathered but in fairly good shape, and no I'm not telling anyone where it is. Thanks, Steven | ||

I purchased the rack for $350 installed. It was on a 95 Disco with 87k and they are asking $8,500 I think for the truck. They even let me test drive a nice M3 while they did the install. | ||

actually that $350 was gonna be over half of my suspension. Oh well, this kinda deal doesn't come around much. Now that it's installed anyone know what Yakima part it is that acts as a wind deflector? I highway commute and it is kinda loud. Any help is appreciated. | ||

Don't bother with the Yakima, a quad setup of Hella 4000s will act as a fairing and difuse the noise. Glenn | ||
