I saw a Freelander this A.M. and it had a bunch of G4 advertising on only one side. It was odd because it looked like factory paint and not just a big promo sticker. One side was completely covered front to back and the other side was totally stock white. I believe it had a dealer window sticker and front plate. I was in my RRC with my little one and pulled along side to show her and to wave. Not much of a greeting from the driver I have to say! I guess I just expect too much from fellow Rover owners. Oh well I'll keep on waving and making a fool of myself.

The only mud on the vehicles in the dealer's lot is on the Freebie!

Maybe she was thinking, "What does that guy in that old Isuzu Trooper want?"

Along the same lines, I used to hate, when I owned by RRC, going to Pep Boys and asking for a part for my Land Rover. The reply would always be, "Aren't those made by Toyota?"

There's a sad lack of respect shown these days on the roads among Landie owners in the US. It used to be all flashing lights, waves, nods. Even among the Brit car owners - I used to get nods and waves from Healeys, Triumphs and so on. Now all you get when you flash your lights and wave is a look of utter confusion.

I proudly display a yellow LR Magazine "Wave and be waved back at" sticker on my front left windshield, hey I am trying!
