This is probably been brought up many times, but I would like to put 4 lights on my adventure rack. Would love to put something like Hella 4000's but would only like to spend around $200-$300 total for 4 lights. Any suggestions? Maybe I should copy this to the items wanted section as well. Thanks, Steven |

Don't blow all of your cash on something seldom used (unless you wheel at night). Unless you are traveling at 80 mph, there is no need for long throw lights. Most of us are usually on trails traveling slowly and would need to flood the trail with light to see around the truck. I purchased 4 hella 500s POS lights. They do the trick. I got 4 for the price of 1 4000. This will leave cash for sliders and such that will be used more. Of course a rack full of 4000s looks cool but an empty wallet is not. |

I agree with Jack. Find some used 3000s or just get new 500s. They do the trick. Beware that the wiring harness is crap that comes with the 500s. Make yourself a nice harness if you go that route. |
