Attached are some pictures of SOLAROS ride on June 28, 2003 on Rich Mountain. Do you recognize that guy (close-up) in the DII?

First post for me so I guess ya gotta start somewhere, anyway....

I used to have a BlaZeR2 - WWW.ZR2.COM - I helped start the GA ZR2 group with 2 friends of mine about 2 or 3 years ago. We were up to about 20 or 30 members when I finally made the $27K creek crossing. I think we've run into you guys a few times at Rich Mountain & Anderson Creek (I think it was snowing then). Anyway, since I turned the Z into a submarine, I figured I'd go ahead and finally get a Disco instead since Chevy is killing the S-10 Line anyway, and the aftermarket parts selection for that line leaves much to be desired. I dont see any forums on here for local groups, so what's the best way to hook up with other ppl in the area? Sorry if this is kinda OT, but oh well its my first post.

Well, if you're in the Atlanta Area, SOLAROS would be your nearest club. But since you didn't mention where in GA you were, it makes things a bit tougher.

OH, my bad...I'm in Atlanta...well chamblee actually, but close enough. So does the Solaros club have a site or anything? I'm still finding my way around this board so sorry 'bout the dumb questions. Hopefully nobody yells at me for not using the search function :-)

Dylan,

The Solaros site is www.solaros.com. It actually might be down today. Today is our last day using our web host. We are switching web hosts so the site might be down for a few days.

The club meets once a month (third Wed of every month) at Tony's Grille on Holcomb Bridge Road. Tony's Grille is just two blocks West of GA 400 on the left.

Email me at solaros@msn.com and I can send you a membership form.

This Saturday we are riding at the Beasley Knob OHV area just North of Blairsville, GA. We are meeting at the Burger King in Blairsville between 9:30-10 AM. Once you get there if you are uncomfortable taking your truck on the trail you can always ride with someone else.

Hope this answers most of your questions.

No, but I am still a happy member of Crescent City Rovers as well!!

In fact I wore my t-shirt today to the gym. It was hard to work out with all the attention from the ladies. Shannon Sharpe, who was two benches away from me, was getting jealous.
