I recently installed an ARB Bull Bar and therefore have no more fog lights on my Disco II. Has anyone upgraded their headlights with "HID look" bulbs for enhanced vision at night? If so, any reccomendations regarding type and size? Also, anyone running an inexpensive fog / driving lamp combo that they are happy with? |

Luke, For the headlights I am running the Hella H4 +50% white light bulbs. Very nice in my opinion. Check out: http://www.catalog.com/susq/index.htm Now as for aftermarket lights for your ARB, the choices are many. I am running the IPF JO-1's which I like very much. Check out: http://www.arb.com.au/IPF_J01_USA.htm Have fun! Paul '00 Pig

Luke, I am with Paul, in that I am also running the Hella H4 headlamp bulbs, which are nice and are a nice upgrade from the factory bulbs. If you're looking for aftermarket lights on a budget, check the setup Ron L is selling. If I had the cash and a roof rack, I'd have those lights in my grubby little hands. He's selling a set of IPF lights that I think would both great on your bumper and provide a nice, quality beam pattern. All in all, it's a hell of a deal. Just don't go cheap-bastard and get some Pro-Comp or KC Hi-lite shit. You've got a nice truck with a nice bumper. Go one more step and get nice lights too. Like John Lee says, "It only takes one scoop of shit to ruin an entire bucket of vanilla ice cream." http://65.241.77.132/discus/messages/13/228.html?1056998267 The lights he had on the bumper can be seen here:
