I have a 2000 DiscoII with the rear ladder. How can I get this thing to seal properly? The seal looks good, I think it's just not making enough contact to seal itself. What can I do? Thanks, Steven |

I don't know much about the 2000 model but on the older discos the latch that catches the rear door could be adjusted. There is a cylinder-rod that the door catches onto when unscrewed it moves front to back, if you need the seal to be tighter you would move that cylinder rod backwards so your door would latch tighter!!! Hope this helps. |

The hinges tend to bend and leave the top of the door away from the seal. |
