I'm running Bridgestone HPs. Great tires for the street, yet not so great off road. Go to tirerack.com and read the buyer reviews. I've heard good things about them, and they are cheaper than BF Goodrich. I still stand by the fact that BF Goodrich are incredible tires, yet costly.

I am running Destination M/Ts. No complaints. I had Duelers before and these are much better off-road.

I have been running the new Destination MT's for about 3000 miles. They aren't loud on the highway, but there is a noticeable sound. (combination sound/vibration hum). You can get used to it.

They definately "dig" when off road. Being so aggressive may have lead to the following:

I did encounter one problem with one of my lugs (on the tire). After some off-raoding at place with a lot of rocks, I noticed one of my lugs was ripping off, and the 3 prior to that had slices where they are connected to the tire. I am hoping that this was a result of the conditions and not a bad tire. It is being replaced under warranty.

Anyone else running these w/a similar problem?

All of my other tires look fine.

I just installed a set of Bridgestone Dueler MTs and they run smooth and are as noiseless as MT tires can be. The tread blocks are not siped though, if that consideration is something important to you.

I have Bridgestone MTs on my 89 Rangie. They have well over 30k on them and have held up well. Weak sidewalls are a problem (2ply). Get the road hazard warranty on them if you offroad hard. They are the absolute best MT on wet asphalt and are very quiet when new, and not bad with age. They are definately the best mud tire you can buy for the street in my opinion. Off road you may give a bit but for the wet traction and the "rounder" tire, you cant beat them. Gordo
