Hi All, Several times I've seen posts from those regretting they have 18" wheels and do not want to spring for another set of 16" wheels and tires right away for their otherwise stock Rover (D2 or 4.6 Rangie). I was looking at the Specs for the Pirelli Scorpion AT's at Tire Rack, and found they have a 235/60-18 size for $141/ ea. This tire is "T" speed rated (122mph) has the correct load and pressure ratings, will fit the 18x8" rim and is the same diameter as the stock tire (29.3"). They are not "mudders", but they are decent and durable. And the width is "stock" for many european D2s. Hope this helps somebody. |
