Has anyone found a way to hook a non OEM CD player to the prewired CD player hookup for a DII?

My DII is a 2000 model. I went down to the local Audio store and they put in an Alpine cd changer under the seat and special ordered a connector that hooked everything in place. It's worked great for 2 years now.

Thanks much for info. Will continue to contact local audio stores until I find one that can find the special connector to order.

I bought a cd player kit from autotoys.com that included a blitz converter and cd player(alpine) for under 300 dollars plus no tax or shipping. it took no more than two hours to hook up. it connects directly to the back of your cd player. I have had mine for two years and am very happy with it. hope this helps.

If I remember correctly there is a new one at autotoys where the blitz cable is no longer needed and you plug it in to the existing cable. That is you no longer have to pull the radio to install the blitz but there is an adapter(?) that goes on down by the player and cable connector
