Any danger in running disco for long period with IAC disconnected? |

Nope. It may stall occasionally at stop lights. |

I think all my idle problems may be solved. I have disconnected my IAC and my truck is running as good as it has in 6 months. A little low at stops with AC but this I can live with. Should I look into replacing the IAC. It seems to be the faulty part in this ongoing saga that nearly robbed me of my sanity. Dealer mech. seemed very surprised about this fortunate turn of events. |

Your idle speed will now be where ever the IAC stopped, the engine may stall on full load ie a/c on or power steering load when parking. You can lift the base idle if you want. |

you can bypass the IAC and keep it connected.. 1. connect your IAC 2. Adjust your idle crew CLOCK WISE until your idle rests at 500rps/ or just above the second mark. i have done this, and car run great! |
