I've been noticing that the bottom where the drain plug and the bolts are are starting to leak. I clean the oil off and then the next day it's back again. Any solutions to this problem. |

It could be coming out of several places, but as it mostly leaks out when its warm, and therefore less viscous, it will end up on the bottom of the transfer case and hang in drips as you describe. A little bit of oil always looks like a lot, but check the level regularly and top up as needed. Mine looses about half a litre every four thousand miles, and topping it up every thousand is a lott less hassle than looking for leaks. |
