the buzzer is warning you that it is in netural and not fully into low box. if this roveer was not or never used in low than i am thinking that it is seized . keep working the transfer lever back and forth until you warning buzzer has stopped. try lubricating it. at least you know that it is starting to move, which is a good sign.

Rolling between 0-5, with the main gear select in neutral, push the hi-lo shifter forward into neutral. the buzzer should sound. Give it another push and it should engage low.

although I use mine frequently, it is much easier to engage while slightly moving. this will definately help one that has not been used in awhile. also, if you reverse in low, it helps to shift and drive forward a little before engaging high again.

there is a yellow sticker in front of the transfer case lever on my RR that also explains the process as a reference.

most have assumed you have a B-W transfer box
