The AC condenser fans (the electric ones in front of the radiator) on my 96 Disco do not come on. Any suggestions on troubleshooting (I'm going to go check fuses now, but thought I'd give the board a chance to work while I'm checking those) Thanks, Jeff |

There's also a thermal switch on the thermostat housing that controls those fans when the engine begins to get too warm (regardless if AC is on or not). Otherwise, a nice sharp test light to stab the wires at the fan will tell you if you've got power there or not. JIm |

Thanks, I'll take a look there when I get a chance. The fuses are all fine. The truck doesn't overheat at all, so I'm not sure just when those fans are supposed to come on. A mechanic friend thought they should be on because my AC clutch was engaging and disengaging far more often than he thought they should. |

Jeff, your AC fans should be on when ever you turn the AC on regardless if your car is hot or not. I just had to replaced one of mine, the unit just went out on me. $75 from a junk yard and its working good. Let me know if you need the number to the junk yard where I got mine. I think they are about $200 - $300 brand new. |
