I just dropped my 97 Disco off at the Mechanic to have the braking system (abs, pads, calipers) checked out. I was hearing a thunk/"CLud" sound whenever I applied the brakes.... He called me and said that the rear coupler needed to be replaced. What is it? What does it do? I cant seem to find anything from searching these boards.
