alright i was deciding wether or not to trim my rear fenders on my D1 with OME HD lift or push them out a little and i was wondering... if a third option could be bending the metal up against the inside of the fender at the seam? anyone tried this or know that it wont work? just seemed easy. |

You talking about the lip inside the wheel well? It is aluminum, so it is not as ductile. Also, it wouldn't remove enough for it to stop rubbing. |

Ted, What size tires are you going to be running? At the top of the wheelwell, sure, you can bend up the lip. But, the back edge of the rear wheelwell, it will need to either be moved out with a little bracket, or trimmed a bit. I suppose you could fold it back instead of cutting, but that would be a lot more work than just a quick snip with the tin-snips. Think subtle, don't go hacking... if you're conservative, it'll be fine and no one but you would know. FWIW.... -L
