I just replaced my throttle position sensor on my 99 D1 with a genuine one and I am having a small issue. My old tps was bad, sometimes worked mostly didnt. And when fitting the new one I noticed that the throttle shaft turned the tps by a degree or so. That little bit makes a big difference in idle RPMs though, it has sent mine to 1500. Is there a way to adjust the throttle shaft so I can bring my idle back to a respectable level. thanks |

it cant be adjusted. you will need to go to the dealer and have them recalibrate your system. sorry dude. ...or you could re-adjust your base idle to compensate. -this info is availible on another thread.. search it out. |
