Any comments and opinions? The thought crossed my mind for my D2. Costs around $90 bucks and takes about an hour.

Yeah Jack, and there's a thousand posts that whine "read the archives", John's question seems to be about the Bilstein R-2000 in particular.

John, I just recently spent $80 on standard cooling system flush, I don't know anything about the 'Bilstein Method' but any preventative maintenance on the cooling system is money well spent.
And I presume that LRNA approves of the Bilstein thing because I saw a flyer for it at the LR dealer.
Go for it, cooling system failure is responsible for 80% of all roadside failures (I just heard that on the radio)

Jim-

The Bilstein R2000 engine flush is an OIL system flush, not cooling.

For what it's worth, I was suggesting a search as there are too many opinions for me to take the time to cut and paste or type into this post.
