Very annoying, when I am accelerating, coasting, or just driving in parking lots at around 5-20 mph my front brakes make a squealing sound. Last time I was at the dealer having them fix something else, but the service guy told me nothing was wrong. It sounds to me like the calipers might not be releasing all the way, or ?? It also does it more pronounced when I am turning going those slow speeds. Any thoughts? Thanks, Zak, oh, and it's a 99D1. |

Option 1: Put some 'no squeak' on the pads, I recommend the stuff NAPA sells, the orange stuff. Option 2: Buy different, 'softer' pads. They'll squeak less but wear faster and put way more brake dirt on your wheels. Option 3: Spend $16 on Social Distortion's 'Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell' CD, crank it up loud, and rock on! -Jim |
