Does anyone have a neat arrangement for organising the "pruck", as we'd say in Ireland, ('stuff' to the rest of you), in the two rear cubbies in a Disco II? I've been trying to come up with something I can put inside them that is semi-temporary (ie quickly removable) that would help sort and organise it. I was thinking along the lines of a fishing tackle box, something you can lift in and out but has drawers and so on you can put stuff in.

Hi Ron
Might be an idea to check a motorcycle magazine, specifically a BMW owners magazine, might be hard to track down, but they have a website, in it you will find companies that make inner bags that fit inside the bikes panniers, I am sure if you gave dimensions they would make you a set. and they would be waterproof and fairly strong, and any colour.

I'd like to hear some ideas as well, as my D1 rear cargo panels are falling apart.

On a side note, pruck is my wifes email address as it's her first initial and last name. Too funny it means stuff!!

Ron,

I just stack things up in there neatly. For tools, I use a snap-on bag for easy grabbing. I use the large 12x12" zip lock bags for lubricants and other small items. A creative thing to do would be to acquire 1/4" plexiglass and cut dividers out of it using a dremel. If you are careful, you could cut the plexi to match the exact shape of the cubby.

of course "stuff" is the polite version. usage is "what's all the pruck?" and more than likely would be taken to mean "what's all that sh^te". i'm sure your wife will enjoy knowing that!

Thanks for the input Paul. I was basically throwing it out there for ideas and to see if anyone had solved this already. Seems like an awful waste of space to just pile everything in there, (which is what I am doing right now)...spot the engineer.
