Scott, I think they've been optional on the Disco's since they came out. The DI's have inward facing seats, and the DII's have forward facing seats.

Scott,

As Greg pointed out, they are available for both models. Shop around and find a disco that is in good condition and reasonably priced. If it has jump seats its a bonus. If not, you can buy them used from a parted out vehicle fairly cheap and install them yourself. The only catch is, I've read on this board somewhere that if the mounts aren't already installed, it could be a pain in the arse.

Don't get sidetracked with options and add-ons when looking around. Just get a solid rig and go from there.

I am picking up a "new" (to me) D1 tomorrow that has no jump seats. I'm going to be shopping for a pair myself here in the near future.

Scott,

Thats very cool. My wife really was indifferent until my Disco came home to live with us. Within two weeks, her rear seemed to become transplanted to the driver's seat of my Disco. I've finally conceded and the one I am getting tomorrow is just for her. Its nice that my wife and I share the same likes for vehicles. It goes a long way towards keeping the peace.
