Just curious but... What are the pro's & con's of putting 15" wheels on a D1?

I'm not a tire expert but it seems that 15" off road tires are more popular then 16" offroad tires. any particular reason why a disco can use 15" wheels and tires?

No reason at all. Gulf Coast Rovers sells 15" wheels for your Rover made by American Racing ( http://www.gulfcoastrovers.com/rovers/arwhl/index.htm ). You are correct that there are a lot more tire choices out there.

Do it!

Ken,

most 15" light truck tires are C-load rated, while most 16" - D or E.

Im using 15". I would say the only drawback is the the higher sidewalls makes the truck feel tippy on off camber and more sloshy on the road but I like the bigger foot print when aired down. Of course tire choice is much broader.

But then again Brian you have quite a few things that would make you feel tippy off camber.

2:42am, darn we could have done those bearings.
