Well guys, I cut out the cats and the computer reset and everything was runnine fine... I reset the base idle and adjusted the timing and everything was all good.

I started down the highway and after about 45mins of driving the truck just died! I can turn it over but it won't crank. I swap the relays of the ecu and fuel pump with a known good one and nothing. ideas???

Everything tight and still set right in the ignition? All the wires still where they belong? I know these are basic questions, but I'd be willing to set something has gotten dislodged as a result of your work around the dizzy. As another possibility, I've not gotten the dizzy down tight and its moved around until the timing was off causing real rough running.

Check the fuses to the fuel pump and other EFI components (fuse box under the hood AND the one under the steering wheel (95 RRC)...otherwise I think the rest are just the right and down of the heater controls with a plastic cover that breaks all too easy. A blown fuse was a culprit for a similar situation.

Also, I had a problem w/ my Disco where by removing the EFI ECU had fried a wire on the fuel pump wiring harness because water rotted it out to the point where a spike in current in the wire made it fail. Had a similar problem with my ignition coil (one of the 4 smaller resisted wires was bad...b*** to find w/o a multimeter).
