Can anyone recommend a good place in Northern Virginia to have some misc. work done on a '99 Disco II? (I am doing some of the basics myself but I don't have a workspace for things like transmission fluid changes, brakes, etc.) I am trying to stay away from dealers (and dealer prices). A little while back I thought I saw a post recommending a place in Arlington/Rosslyn?? Thanks in Advance! |

Can't help you on non-dealer in the area as my 1999 D2 was still under warantee until this past Spring. Until then the only place I would take it to was LR Alexandria and I would ask for Dave Abril (sp?) to do the work. He was the only person who gave me good service of any dealer in the area. |

Greg, Arlington Motorcars in Clarendon is OK, especially for fluid changes and the like, but not great. The best place is Treasured Motorcars in Owings Mills, MD. Trevor and his guys are great, and know Rovers well. For me, it's worth the drive up there for anything complicated. |
