Now I'm no mensa (a person with an unusually high IQ) but I need to paint some stuff and need some advice. My disco is white and the paint is chipping on the bottom of the grill and those parts underneath the headlights. Anyone removed those trim pieces underneath the headlights?? Screws & stuff. I can however work a paint gun oh yeah. |

Pretty simple to remove. I did it to my wife's disco after she hit a deer. I had to replace the plastic trim piece under the headlight. The part was not expensive, and it cost me $20 to have it painted. Far cheaper than buying the paint (they didn't have the touch up sprays at the time). Anyway, if I remember correctly, remove some of the screws from the black grill on the side of the piece you are working on. The piece then can slide and be pulled up. It has some pins on the bottom, and it slides into another front piece. You'll see what I mean when you start doing it.
