got a d 2 and thinking about lifting it with ome suspension how high will heavy duty springs lift it. i want to get rid of those crappy alloy rims
what size of tire can i use.. i will get some steel rims 16"...

265/75's along with a OME 2" lift seems to work nicely.

You can go with a 2 or 3 inch lift and the most popular tire choices are 265/75R16 or the 235/85R16.

the alloys actually are not that bad
