Schrader valve

Does the scrader valve just twist off from the rail? I tried unscrewing it, but it wouldn't turn, can anyone confirm before I use more muscle on it? thanks

Why are you trying to remove the valve? The center core should unscrew just like a tire valve, but I think the stem is welded in (at least it was on the 87 Range Rovers).

Thanks,
Mike B.

In the picture, yours is missing the black plastic cap, which is all you need to unscrew. Most fuel pressure guages will come with more than one adapter, one of which should screw directly onto the valve just as you have it shown in the picture. I think my guage said that the adapter I ended up using was for Fords.
