Using this forum I have solved my high idle problems by disconnecting my IAC. Am I to assume that this is the problem and by replacing the IAC The truck will run fine or should I believe the dealer mechanic who thinks the ECU may be malfunctioning. I am basically wondering whether to invest in a new IAC? By the way high praises to the Land Rover tech in Halifax, Nova Scotia who came out and chatted with me for about half and hour at no cost and answered alot of novice questions on the spur of the moment. Check engine light came on as a result of disconnecting the IAC. Very helpful people. Land rover OTTAWA could learn a thing or two from them.
