Alan, is that the one where the brakes failed? I'm thinking it must be the same video, an older Blazer I think (I looked, but I'm not that great at vehicle identification). They show it from time to time on "shocking video" shows. There was a thread about this a year or two ago on Dweb.

Hey Karen. I have no idea but it looks like something like that happened. I can't see someone WANTING to go down that fast.

Nonono...that is certainly the one where the brakes failed. It was also the first major incedent on LB. There have only been a couple since and they always involved the driver being impaired. It is certainly safer than this video shows, but it still prttyy hectic all the same.

Wasn't the wife driving? I believe it was their anniversary or something.

I believe they walked away from it but obviously beaten up a bit. The brakes did fail and it has been on the various "shocking vididiots" shows many times.

it's been beat to death here. if you guys search archives for LB, you'll find a bunch of info on this couple. There was nothing idiotic about this occurence, except (maybe) husband leaning over to the driver side and knocking the truck out of gear. The lady actually had guts to do it again, IIRC it was some time last year.
