I putting a Optima Red top in my 99D2. The Optima is not as tall as the OEM battery and the cables don't want to fit. How have others tackeled this problem? Thanks Eric, for now I used two 1x3"'s, but I will find the spacer. I don't want to wood to cause problems in the future. Don't want my LR to get termites.
