Did a search, didn't find anything. I putting a Optima Red top in my 99D2. The Optima is not as tall as the OEM battery and the cables don't want to fit. How have others tackeled this problem? Should I put a few 1x3"'s under the optima?

The Optima Red Top is shorter than an OEM battery and you have to use something to make it sit higher. You can buy the Optima spacer or make something yourself.

Cool! Thanks Eric, for now I used two 1x3"'s, but I will find the spacer. I don't want to wood to cause problems in the future. Don't want my LR to get termites. :-)
