what a piece of crap, Not being an ass or anything, but it would take a lot of work to keep that bad boy running, and that coming from a Rover fanatic with two already

so how do you know its a piece of crap?

those are all very stout components they chose

so what makes it a piece of crap?

Listen to his description. Leaks, for starters expected from our beloved rovers, not one with 60K invested. Needs a heat shield for the starter. If I spent 60K I would do it right the first time. It won't run in the heat, but would do better in the cooler climate. I am sure most cars do, but how about a bigger and better radiator. It is an example of a good intention, that will take lots of garage time to use. Thats all. I wouldn't want anything to do with it.
A couple of good things is the fact that he beefed up the drivetrain and a new stereo.
