My 95 Disco I is blowing cool, but not cold (60 degree) air. This won't quite cut it here in New Mexico during the summer. I see no refrigerant through the sight glass. I was prepared to add R-134a to it, but when I metered the low pressure side, it said 35-40 psi, which I thought would be plenty. My Hanes manual doesn't help, it just says "experienced personel" only for work on the A/C. Any ideas what the the correct low pressure side PSI would be for this vehicle? Or other possible cure. All the vents and baffles seem to be working correctly. |

You should be fine upto about 45psi, but anywhere from 35-45psi should blow cold. Past 45 is usually overcharged and above 55 shows mechanical problems. |
