Anytime I'm pulling a trailer, the fuse to my instrument cluster blows (#14 I think). The only thing that I think could possibly be causing the problem is the ground wire coming off the uhaul converter box. I connected the ground wire off of that box onto what I thought was a ground wire coming out of the factory wiring harness. Its dark and late here so I can't go see what color the wire I think is ground is, but does anybody know for sure if there is a ground wire in that harness? Has anybody else had any luck in finding a good spot to put the ground wire? I can't find a good bolt or anything to connect it to. 96 Disco SE. Thanks |

Not sure about the rest of your issues, but as for the ground, I used the top bolt for my jump seat. When in the small compartment on the back right of you Disco, you should be able to see where the top bolt would go if you do not have the seats installed, just get a bolt to fit in the hole and then you have an instant ground. |
