Anyone know the steps involved in draining and refilling the coolant system on a D2. I want avoid getting air trapped in the system if possible.

How many drains are there altogether? I can't seem to find any on the bottom of radiator. However, I did find what appears to be small plugs on the engine block.

Outside of LR fluid what else can I use? Would Dex-Cool be compatible with the metals used in the engine and radiator?

looking at the workshop manual...would copy and paste but cannot do it with adobe.

1. There are evidently two plugs - one on the left and right of the cylnder block. The illustration sucks. Drain and flush with LOW pressure!! Says to disconnect the bottom radiator hose as well.

2. Refill - there is a bleed screw on the top radiator hose right smack dab in the middle behind the raditator - refill until it comes out a little. Tighten and fill all the way.

3. States only to use Texaco XLC and not to mix it with others. No idea of wether you should add water. it states later 50%. 13.5 pts capacity.

Please note I have yet to complete this task myself!! So i think we need someone else to chime in to verify all these steps. Good luck.
