Where are the pictures? I know if Dean was there, there had to be some great shots. Post them if you have them.

Thanks to Peter and Dean for organizing a great trip!

It was my first time in a challenging off road trip. I had only gone on dealer sposored events before.

I still can't wipe the grin off my face when I think back on how much fun I had.

So I had to leap out my window into 3 ft. of water... So I had a small waterfall when I opened the door... So my truck has skanky damp smell... I still think it was well worth it!

I'm just glad I took out my CD player before the trip.

Anyway, My idle is back to normal. after I cleaned the stepper motor, I had to take it to the dealer to calibrate the stepper to the ECU.

When I told the service guys about how we had to take the ECU out and dry it in the sun to get the truck started they suggested that procedure. In any case, it worked, so my idle is back to normal.

I'd also like to thank everyone on the trip who just jumped in and helped to get me going again. It was the first time I met you guys, and yet when I was holding everyone up by being unable to get the truck started, you all helped, and I never sensed any attitude whatsoever to the holdup. Thanks again, you made me feel very welcome, and I appreciate it.

Dean,

I got your email about this weekend. I'll have to consult the "boss".

Ah yes, the biggest obstacle of all, the boss.
