I bought a set of IPF 960's (Right here from Steve actually!) and I now need to swap out one of the bulbs.

What are the biggest I can put inside? I can get Off-Road rated 100W's which do work, but I don't want to fry the loom.

Can I buy an uorated loom to enable me to use these nice 100W bulbs, or do I have to drop back down to the 55W that were fitted.

Legal wise - they only get used when off-road, so the bigger the better. ;-)

Thanks guys and gals.

100W should be fine on the original harness. I would suggest if possible, to run a larger guage wire for the positive and ground, as the factory harness can get a bit hot.

Ron - presume you mean from the relay to the battery?

Thanks

Sorry about that

Relay to battery and relay to lights. Switches can remain "factory". This is just a suggestion in the event you have the lights on for long periods of time.

Thanks Ron.

Any recommendations on guage? I'm no electrician, but I can solder, and I can ask a friend who is a spark to supply me with the relavent wires. (and maybe do the work for a drink or two).
