may also be you're a bit low on brake fluid in the resoivior (sp) teh switch for that light (I'm told) is in the resavior cap and when your pads wear the fluid level drops in there making the light come on. Same thing happened to me recently in Oklahoma. I checked it out and the light went out. Nothing since. |

...and speaking of brake pads...are Midas pads worth the lifetime cost of dealing with them or are LR pads so simple to drop in it's just as easy to DIY? Any special tools needed? |
