I use this on my laptop. Used it last night on a 97 Accord and used it on my 99D1 many times. http://www.obddiagnostics.com/ -Leo

I had that problem with the DSII just two weeks ago. It turns out (as revealed by an 80 dollar code check at the dealer) that the battery, while reading "good" was actually dipping below minimal voltage at times during driving. The techs' hypothesis was that the intermittent voltage dip was likely due to driving around in 107 degree heat for a week straight in stop and go traffic -- the alternator was not getting adequate time to charge and make up for increased battery inefficiency due to extreme heat. I replaced the battery, even though all the fancy testing equipment said it read "good" and the light has stayed off since. Just an FYI |
