I'm think I am making progress as I wander around the archives to learn. I have been able to save current threads highlighting the text and saving thread as an ".mht" file. This method will not work for me on the archived threads.

Is there a way that will work to save archived threads on my hard drive?

Also, is there any way that I can store my Username and Password for the length of time that I am accessing archives?

There sure is lots of good info in the archives, feels like a trip to the library! :-) :-)

Thanks again, Jamie

Jamie:

On any page you are viewing you should be able to select File,Save As... in your browser and save everything you want. Don't know about the U/P issue you are having....

Best,

~Jason

Thanks Jason,

I tried that over and over again. It will only save banner. However, I was able to figure out how to save archived threads by pasting into MS Word. Probably a good thing since that made me learn how to use MS Word a little bit!

Thanks! Jamie :-)

Ahh...

Try this:

Find a thread you want to save. And instead of normally clicking the thread to open and read it, RIGHT click the link to the thread and select "Open in New Window". This will get the thread open in a new browswer withouth the DWEB top navigation frame and allow you to save the entire page as I described above. This should solve it for you.

:-)

You could do select all and highlight it and put it into a word document, that also works.
