Hello All, Something that has always bothered me is the sound of my engine. Although I have learned to ignore it for long periods at a time, I am growing concerned about it. I know the fan is super loud, especially when it kicks on and off. This sound is more "scratchy sounding", sometimes louder at times than others, but definitely louder than the nice steady low pitch hum of the engine. It is very obvious when the truck is inside my garage. Do I have reason to be concerned? Should I have LR Dallas take a look? When I get loaners from LR Dallas, I don't recall hearing this same sound. I have a '01 Discovery II with 35000 miles. Gerry |
