NVTR2003 promises to be more exciting than ever. A new twist for NVTR is, each entrant is asked to vote for either a 48-Hour , 36-Hour or 28–Hour format. Searching for and collecting Waypoints is the key to scoring points in NVTR, and this year’s course promises to be the best yet! Mountains once snowed in and rivers once iced over will be included for 2003, and don’t forget about those dry lakes and dirt roads. Special Tasks, penalty points and the infamous Trophy Course will in the end determined the overall winners. The Awards Breakfast is scheduled for Sunday morning at the Ramada Inn, our host hotel in Lovelock. New for 2003: Laptops are permitted. A maximum of four 5-gallon gas cans are also permitted.
