U Joint Question

The new u-joints I received from Northeast Britsh Parts are non serviceable. Can I replace the bearing cup assembly from the new one and place them on the yokes of the old u-joints? Or is that just a bad idea. Mixing old/new components and bearings isn't a good idea Bill
