My AOL has blocked me from Dweb for most of the last few days. Specifically, AOL has not allowed my IP address to post to the board. Every once in a while (like now!), it will allow me to post.

Anyone know what's up with AOL on this??

Thanks, Jamie

Brian,

HOW do you use the internet explorer? I have that on my computer - do I need to sign up with another service to use it?

2 nights ago, I tried to figure out how to use what came on my computer when I purchased it -- Dellnet by MS Explorer or something like that.

However, that would not allow me access to internet unless I knocked down ALL security and firewalls. I called their toll free number and they confirmed this by telephone.

I thought it was totally ridiculous and irresponsible for them to even ask me to do such a thing.

If you know how to reply or post to Dweb when AOL is knocked out, I'd luv to know exactly HOW to do it. Thanks! Jamie

what i did is first i connect to aol, i do all the things i usually do on aol, then i just go and open up internet explorer, if your not connect to aol then you can't do it. so basically you have to be connect to the internet. i hope that helps if it doesn't write me an email and i can help you work it out further.

oh yea, I was thinking if you have a permanate connection, like cable or DSL. If you have dial up you have to do what brian said, you have to be on AOL first.

Hmmmm...you might be on to something here. I wonder if those guys blocked AOL.

Naw...they would not do that :-)
