The time has come for me to replace my brake pads - especially since I'm sensing a grinding sensation when I press the brake pedal.

Would like to know what recommendations there are for replacement pads and the best place for me to source them. Also, I might need to replace the rotors (because of the grind) where should I source these?

I am local in Maryiand.
Thanks

Check the vendor section there are a ton of people selling the pads. Discount rover usually has a special on some pads, British Pacific is also a good place, just shop around and get a good deal. I believe in the standard brake pads. I believe that DAP will have the cheapest replacement rotors, but do not know for sure and do not know that they are genuine.

Call Nathan at Discount Rovers. He's still running a special on the rear pads for D1.

One thing I wish I would have done when it was time to replace my rotors was upgrade. Don't make the same mistake I did, for not too much more cash, you can get better quality breaks to stop that beast:

Jay - DAP has complete kits - either standard or vented/crossdrilled rotors - comes with gaskets, oil seals, pads, rotors, etc for some fairly good prices.

BTW - 98 Rock was plugging Jays Shave Ice in the AM the other morning. Free advertising!
