I'd like to thank you folks again for your help. I pulled the trigger and traded in our Isuzu Trooper for the disco and after 1000 miles I have no remorse. Great truck! I'm going to buy a bentley for it, but first things first. I'm having the A/C drain problem where water leaks out onto passenger side floor. I ran a search but could not find anything. I remember reading about cleaning the drain holes but not certain where they are located. Any one clue me in? Link? Also, On cold starts I have a high idle (2K or so). After I let the truck warm up and shut it down and re-start it idle is fine. IAC? This may be the cause of my CE light (I have not had time to pull the codes). This happens when the truck is in neutral. How much are replacements? I'll try cleaning it first, it's the plug that is right on the intake manifold correct? Aside from those two issues the truck is in immaculate shape! Thanks again everyone for the help, it feels good to finally have a landie

Brent: I can offer assistance on the AC problem as I had the same question about a month ago. Beneath the truck there are two cone shaped nipples on either side of the transfer case. They protrude about and inch from the transmission well. Use a coat hanger to remove the obstruction. You may get wet. For further information do a search on "The Swamp in my floor" |

I happened to be at LR Newport Beach last week, and someone came in with that AC drain issue. The tech just removed the rubber nozzles at the end of the AC drains. Water then just poured out, apparently. |

Don't poke coat hangers up in the drain tubes as you can puncture the wall of the tube - the nipples just twist and pull out - reverse to reinstall. There is one on each side the the trans tunnel about 2/3 way up . Bill |

Thanks for the pic! I'll give it a work over and see if that clears it up. BTW, I'm still happy as heck with the truck |
