Hi all. I've got a couple a problems with my '91 TDi Disco which I hope someone can help me with. 1. I get a fairly loud ticking noise eminate from my engine when it's warmed up. I've changed the inlet/Exhaust manifold gasket but it's still there. I've tried to locate the source of the sound, but it appears to be coming from the "left hand side" of the engine bay (Right Hand Drive Vehicle), sorry I can't be any more specific. Has anyone had similar problems? 2. Hopefully this is an easy one... I have a hose that appears from in front of the radiator(at the top right hand side) and goes to a pump of some sort at the top front of the engine. This hose has broken it's union joint at the pump end. Another pipe then comes from this pump and goes through the bulkhead through the lower left hand side. What does this pump do? Is it the Air Con? Also, do you happen to know the LandRover code for this hose? I hope someone can help me with these questions. TIA Jason |

Hose sounds like a/c hose. the pump is part of the a/c. If you plan on using a/c get the pipe replaced, and a/c system converted to the non freon type...conversion kits from LR aren't that expensive |

Probably a dumb question. I know that non freon is invironment freindly but is their any other reason to convert? |

Just found out that the "ticking" noise is coming from the Injectors, apparently there is some air being forced past them. Does this mean I need to get some new injectors or is it possible to get new injector seals? TIA Jason |
