I'm looking for a after market part number for 1997 disco 4.0 for a stepper motor. Or should I pay the piper and get the lr part. |

http://www.discoweb.org/parts.htm AC-151 but I doubt you will get it cheaper than the oem if you buy it from Nathan @ www.discountrovers.com S. |

The original L/R part is around $209 the Atlantic British supplied part is $169 |

I just spoke with Nathan. He has the IAC in stock from a U.S. source for $169. He can get the IAC from the UK in "a week or so" for $100. Then I called Rock Auto spoke with Laura at x205. They don't have an IAC for a 97 disco, however they do have part AC151 listed as "ESI auxiliary Air supply" for $34.95 + $6 and change shipping, and they do not show it as being for a Discovery. But I figured it was worth a shot based on the advice received here. I can always return it if it doesn't work. I'll post my results after I've installed it. |
